I am a big fan of Elizabeth Gilbert in that I feel her work can inspire, create change and light a fire under almost anyone that comes in contact with it. Even my big tough husband will admit that she was onto something with Eat, Pray, Love
I recently started diving into Big Magic and the quote above about knocked me on my ass.
I started thinking about how by default, when I am creative, (and by creative it could be anything... creating an organized closet, creating new spaced in my home, creating something with my hands, creative writing... you don't have to be an artist to be creative!!!)
I don't have the TIME or SPACE to destroy anything.
My mind, my body, my marriage, my home, my work, my life all benefit from me being in a more creative head space.
I'd love to hear what you thought of the book if you've read it, or what you do to keep that creativity flowing! Drop me a comment below.
