Today's fast Friday brings you two awesome things. One lead me to the other!

This weeks fast Friday is actually a super cheap product that will reinvent your summer and your beauty routine. This hot pink ice roller has seriously changed my game. Not only does it feel awesome on your face during a hot day, after a night out etc etc it makes your skin freaking GLOW. Its mindless to use, relaxing and rejuvenating.

I recently started diving into Big Magic and the quote above about knocked me on my ass.
I started thinking about how by default, when I am creative, (and by creative it could be anything... creating an organized closet,creating new spaced in my home, creating something with my hands, creative writing... you don't have to be an artist to be creative!!!)
I don't have the TIME or SPACE to destroy anything.
My mind, my body, my marriage, my home, my work, my life all benefit from me being in a more creative head space.

Campfire, Carlsbad

I'll get into why its VITAL to continue dating your husband on a later post, but this one is dedicated to a new-ish restaurant in our 'hood.

Tonight we popped into Campfire after my doctors appointment and we were BLOWN away!

The decor instantly makes you feel like you aren't cool enough to be there, then the drinks - oh the drinks! While I am not a huge fan of the craft cocktail, this place knows what they are doing.

We decided to just order a bunch of apps and graze our way through dinner (sorry we ate too fast for photos).

Shower Thoughts

Do you ever wonder what other people think of in the shower?

I often find inspiration in the strangest places- tonight it was in the shower. I was contemplating how the ease of accessing others lets us skip over "getting to know each other".

By instantly connecting on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat etc we gloss over the - who have you been the last 25+ years.

I feel an urge to connect to my "friends" (online) on a deeper level but due to this instant bff status I often feel as if this would be off putting...
